MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The' Wellington South Miniature Riflo Club lias completed its shootings for the past month, and some interesting competitions have been decided. The contest for Mr. J. P. Firth's trophy resulted as follows:—P. B. Goldiinc.il, 205 points, 1; B. Pudney, 204, 2; C. Adams, 203, 3; D. Dement, 201; J. M'Nie, 201; Neall, 201; .P. Franklyi!, 200; Evans, 200; S. Faulknor, 199; M. Ahlers, 199; H. Fetter, 199; S. Bees, 199; H. Hassel, 198; i. Ahlers, 198; H. Lippitt, , 197; Combear, 196; D. Preston, 19G; C. Pym, 196; Marriot, 192. The monthly competition for the Osmond Shield for May was won by B. Pudney. The contest for this shield, which has extended over one yenr, has been completed, and resulted in P. Franklyn winning the shield outright, with an aggregate of 1816 points,' 8.. Goldfinch' second with 1315 points, and C. Adams third with'lßl4 points. _ Mr. F. Franklyn lias presented a fine shield to tho club fon competition amongst members.
