DIFFICULTIES OF THE GOVERNMENT. The problem of how to bring back'the New-Zeabuulers now stranded in Sydney has been engaging tho attention of tho Government. This was admitted very readily by Sir James Allen when lie was asked a question nn tile subject, and no admitted also that the problem was ouo of great diiliculty. "We are trying to do what wo can," said the Alinftter. "1 liavo seen some of the shipping people myself to-day. There are grave difficulties about utilising overseas steamers lo bring back these people. They are' refrigerated steamers, and if they are quarantined over here, as they probably would be, for if the lleajtn Department did not do it, the waterside workers would do it, tiiey would be delayed for an indefinite Um&. They aro being sent out here to take away produce, and We can't hold up the product. This must ga. At present wo aro .trying to nialio another arrangewent."
