* PASSENGERS INDIGNANT. By Telegraph—Precs Aosoclfttioo Auckland, June 22. Passengers booked to leave for Vancouver by the Niagara are indignant at being unable to get any definite information as to the movements of the vessel, and have arranged to hold a meeting on Monday morning .to enter a protest "TVe have applied to the Union Company," said one passenger, "and they simply" Hay, 'We cannot give you any information.' Tho company recognises no liability in regard to providing accommodation ashore, and passengers are doing the best they can for themselves. Many, of the second-class passengers are in straightened circumstances, having provided themselves with little more money than sufficient to pay their fares. Mails an 3 cargo are alreauy on board the Niagara, but the company ie evidently holding the vessel in the hope that they will be_ able to transfer the passengers from tiiß Manuka."
