SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION
The council of the Sunday School Union met last evening. Mr. A. Koby presided over a good attendance of delegates. ' A long-service diploma was granted (0 a local superintendent who had 25 years' continuous servico to his credit. An interesting report nf his, work was given by (lie organiser, Mr. W. 15. Howe. A hear.ty vote of thanks was given, to. Mr. Howe, and.it was decided to', endeavour Co give the city teachers an opportunity of hearing Mr. Howe's tell his experiences. A proposal for tho formation, of a Sunday School Unions Association.was received from tho Auckland Union, and it was referred to n sub-committeo for.a report. Satisfactory entries for the examination, to 'be held in July wero reported., The camp bal-anc-sheet showed that expenses had been more thnn covered by subscriptions ami donations. Tho report of tho combined Biblo Class and Sunday School Union Committee was received, showing that arrangements were well forward for tho Youth Workers' .Institute gathering, .to be held in September.
