NEW INSTITUTION FORMED.
■ A lave number of Australinns met in tlio Esperanto Hull last evening'for the mirposo of confirming the constitution or the newlv-formed Australian f'hib. Mr A. W Butt, who presided, stated that, in view of the largo nunibor of Australians settling in New Zealand it was thought that an Australian Club should be formed with the idea of fostering the spirit of good fellowship between Australians and New Zealanders. The club wag to Tie non-political and nonsectaridn, and menfborshin privileges would only„be extended to those of Australian birth. Further, the club would confine itself to those interests that were common to all Austrnlinns > The meeting- proceeded, to discuss the constitution, which was finally adopted. As the annual meetin? of the club w fixed for early in July, it was decided to postpone the election of officer!..
