DISPLAY AT DOMINION MUSEUM,
A full set of American Army equipment has been received by tbo Domimou Museum.' and is now on exhibition. It includes., uniform,' greatcoat, raincoat, vest, gloves, rifle, bayonet, water boitle, boots, puttees, and cooking gear. J the. •Unericau equipment wus admitted to bo particularly good, ai:d soldiers will find It interesting to compare the articles willi those issued to the New Zealand troops. The collection was sent from American Army Headquarters ■ in: • .exchange for ft eet oi New Zealand equipment supplied from the New Zealhnd Headquarters in London. 1 Tho American authorities have also forwarded a complete set of their badges and chevronß, some 120 in number,' and specimens of thirteen war ing tbb American equivalents o£ the Distinguished Service Order and the-Mili-tary Cross. Medals issued for the Indian wars, Spanish-American war, Cuban campaign, mid Chinese (Boxer) oampiagn are among the ' specimens. Tiie.se medals will bo placed on exhibition shortly. _
