BAKERS AND PASTRYCOOK'S DEMANDS
-o THE QUESTION OF NIGHT BAKING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 17. In tho Arbitration Court', dealing with the bakers' and pastrycooks' demands. Mr. Jiistice Stringer said iha baktrs had the Court's sympathy in their desire to do away with night baking, but there was a difficulty, in that the Court could not control the master baken: who did not employ hands. The existing awards had not long to run, and the question ought to be considered from the _ Dominion point, of view when they expired. Possibly they could be dealt with only by special legislation. On the other.demands, the Court reserved its decision.
