BISHOP NEVILL'S RESIGNATION. (Jy Tcicsraph.- Press Asßociatlon. Dunedin, June IG. At the opening of the Anglican Synod the Primate, Bishop Xevill, after stating that he was, senior Bishop of the Anglican episcopate tlnoughout the world, announced his intention to resign, with the proposal that the resignation take effect from December Jl next. In tho course of his address, Bishop Xevill expressql the opinion that objections could be found to the'proposal to make the Bishop of Wellington Primate ex officio.
