INSURANCE AGENT'S DEATH
Mr. David Armstrong, a well-known Wellington insurance agent, who resided at No. 13 Park Street, was found dead on Saturday evening. He was last seen alive by his wife just before she went om at about 7 o'clock. He then appeared to bo in his normal senses. On returning liome about 10 p.m. Mrs. Armstrong noticed a strong smell of gas. Tho doors of tho scullery were loeked, and when slio entered the place l»y way of tTie window alio found Mr. Armstrong sitting in a chair, apparently dead, with a tubo from which gas'was issuing lying by him. Dr. Pattie, who examined hipi a. little later, found him to he dead. Deceased was sixty years of age, and was in the employ of the Provident Life Assuranco Company.
