' According to the .New York "Times" Washington correspondent, 'he American Trado Commissioner in London reports that many of the Lancashire cotton-tex-tile- manufacturers who are unwilling to depend exclusively on the United States for cotton have been sending commissions to Japan, India, and South America, in order to find new sources of supply.—Aus,N.Z.
