The Australian Press Agency learns that Germany is evidently seeking to occupy the whole of the Baltic Provinces in order to keep in touch with Russia for commercial penetration after Peace. Germany had collected tanks, aeroplanes, and munitions at Riga with a view to an advance, but Marshal Foch notified her to withdraw west of the Hive line.
