SYDNEY CONFERENCE DECISIONS. Sydney, Juno 12. The Labour .Conference discussed a proposed new platform, which it decided should be limited to twelve planks, including Abolition of the Legislative Council; Substitution of the initiative referendum and recall; Abolition of the State Governor; Full citizen rights for women; Adequate industrial and military provision' for returned soldiers and their dependants.The astnblishment of the iron and steel industry by State or Commonwealth Governments.—Press Assn.
