GREEN ISLAND MINERS' STRIKE

The Labour Department intends to prosecute a number of Green Island miners for alleged breach of the Conciliation and Arbitration Act by taking part in a strike. It is understood that soiiw 21 summonses have been issued, claimins a. penalty of ,£lO in each instance, but it is doubtful if the whole of these have been served..
