CALEDONIAN CONCERT
The Caledonia'*',Society, which 1 -was reorganised recently, will hold its ' first concert in the. Town Hall at 8 o'clock toriiiglit. "An excellent-Scotch programme has been arranged, comprising songs, music, and dance ; s. Miss Adelaide lirut-o, 'a .leading Australian' Scottish contralto, will sing "The March of tho Cameron Men" and "Rothsay Bay"; Mr. Martin Puff, Scottish tenor/will sing "Hurrah for the Highlands" and "Scotland Vet" Mr. Len Barnes (baritonel, "Turn to to Me" and "Annie Laurie"; Mr, W, W. Crawford, humorist, "The Pirato" and "My Wedding." Madanio B. Green, of Dunedin, will,contribute the "Last May a flraw Wooer" nnd "Within a Mile of .Edinburgh." Miss Myra Sawyer will also sing" "Doon the Burn."- The society's juvenile dancers and . the adult medallists will contribute to the evening's entertainment, -which is considered to be the best the society has arranged since its inauguration in 1883.-.,
