A GREAT IMPERIAL EXHIBITION
PROPOSAL FOR 1921. (Rec. June 1, 11.5 p.m.) Lon'don, May 25 (delayed). Lord Sydenham, on behalf of the British Empire League, tendered a luncheon to an important gathering of official and commercial men for the purpose ol inaugurating a great Imperial exhibition in London in 1921. Mr. William Hughes (Australia),-Sir Joseph Ward (New Zealand), Sir George Porlcy* Sir John M'Call (Tasmania), and prominent business men supported tho proposal. The leagiiß was instructed to approach the Government on the matter.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. •
