By TeleErapb—Vress Association. Auckland, May 27. About sixty of the horses engaged at the ,coming Great- Northern Meeting worked at Ellerslio this morning. -Sleight of Hand,-.assisted by Reforma. Hon, did a good half-pace. • Eask and Waimai, alone, covered two circuits. Ditto,, after jumping two flights of "hurdles, went a Strong round. To Ongn covered two rounds at a sound pace. • Art led Kauri King over' two hurdles. Soult led Cynic and Paruoa over four. Paraoa and Art then ran a strong circuit on the sand, finishing together, all out. ■ Colonel Soult, Cynic, and Kami King alone did similar tasks. Orpheum, alone, and Tenacious, assisted by Meltchikon'.ran two strong round*, and Otara, alone, went a similar distance. I Troublesome led Sir Fisher and N T o Surrender over the steeplechase fences, taking on those on the hill. For one that bad never seen the fences 'before Sir Fisher gave a creditable display, though he pecked on landing over one fence. Grey.Star went over the same fences, beating a stable-mate taking 15sec. longer time Minister galloped n strong mile,, and Flurry Up, Parisian Diamond, General Stephen-, Escaped, All Talk. Comedy Prince, Mountain Gold, Fabriquette, Hincamarui, and Te JUiro were, responsible for-useful tasks. Yankee Jack .has been scratched for all engagements at the A.R.C. Meeting.
