DEMONSTRATION IN LONDON, (Rec. May 27, 9.25 p.m.) London, May 26. . Several thousand discharged soldiers went in a procession to Westminster. Foot and mounted police blocked tho approaches to Parliament. Tho demonstrators reached the Abbey and assailed the police with paving wood blocks and gramte setts. The foot police, charged and scattered the demonstrators, who later marched to Buckingham Palace.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
