INDUSTRIES COMMITTEE
By Telegraph—Press Association. Mastorton, May 26. The Parliamentary Industries Committee sat in Masterton to-day. Questions concerning the deviation of the Rimutnkn railway, hydro-electric power, woollen mills, railway surtax on timber, and development of resources by establishing light'line railways to the back-blocks, were presented by members of tlie Chamber of Commerco and others. Members of the Comniitteo will return to Wellington this morning, and will meet in the afternoon.
