9—. THE NOMINATIONS. The nominations for the Victoria College Council closed at a p.m. on Friday last. The following candidates, being tho only ones nominated in their cc-natituen-cies, are declared duly elected;— Eoll of- Certificated Teachers.—William Albert Evans. i Roll of Members of Education Boards.— Richard M'Callnm. Roll of Court of Convocation-Clement Watson and Phineas Levi. ' No nomination was received for the vacancy caused by the retirement of tho representative of teachers in tho secondary school and technical day schools. The following nominations were received for the roll of governing bodies ot secondary schools:—Tiiomas Forsyili, William Dinwiddie, ■■ Thomas Hayner Hodder. As in this case only one member is rc> quired an election will take placo on Saturday, June 7. Tho poll will close at 5 p.m. on that date.
