SATURDAY'S PLAY AT KAEOEI. Ladies' Matches. Ramblers A defeated Victoria College A by i goals to 3. Goals wevo scored i'or Ramblers. by Misses Lonj? (2), Williams, and Syuions, and for College by Misses Richards (2), and Mills. Base Records defeated Girls College B by one goal to nil. Miss Niinnio scored Hie winning goal. Girls' College A defeated Audit by 9 goals to nil. Goals wore scored by Misses Bedell, Simpson, Murliii (i), and Dewuurst (3). . ■. Tho match between Y.W.C.A. B and Ramblers B was a draw, each team scoring a goal. Mies M.uir scored for Y.W.C.A., and Miss Lainberg for Ramblers Senior Mcu'^. The match between Karori A and Wellington was the chief event of the day, and it ended in a draw, wjth four each. It was evenly contested, Karori being slightly the better of t> e two, but lacked scoring power. Karori had some new .players in the team, but tho standard of play was not so high as when they drew with Central the previous Saturday. The result of tins game su'lt leaves Wellington one point ahead.in the championship. Mr. A. E. Pragnell had charge of the game. . Ramblers defeated Karori B by four goals to two. Mr. Buipson was referee. Junior Men's. Iluiiv easily defeated Wesley A scoring 20 goals to nil. Referoe, i>h\ A. Edwards. Victoria College defeated Karori by 12 goals to nil. Karori were unfortunate in uot hav.ing a full team, several of their players being recruited to fill vacancies m the Benior B team, but they put up a good fight against overwhelming odds and, given their original team, should do better next Saturday. Mr. Lloyd was referee.
