A trial match between the Dominion representative team to tour Australia mid the Auckland Rugby League team wns played yesterday, New Zealand winning by 25 points to ID. Auckland was •by far the best team on the day's play, and was iinjiieky to lose. The representiitivo (earn showed litllo combination and won on individual pkiy. For Now Zealand Ifworson scored three tries and converted three and kicked two penaltygoals; Waddell and W. Davidson scored tries. For Auckland Davidson scored two tries; Clarke, l'ullan, ami Sutton scored u. try apiece; Castles a;id Frances converted a try each.

Tho fixtures for Saturday are as follow.—
Suburbs v. Petone A, at Pelone; referee, Mr. Murphy. Athletic v. Pctono B: referee, Mr. A. White. Both matches will be played at Petoiie. The selectors of the New Zealand team to tour Australia will be present to witness the play. Jfht! following will play for Suburbs Iv-Campbell (2), Downey, Duncan, Green, Scott, Russell, Warring, Donaldson, M'Kenzio, Keighlcy, Manning, Hawkins, Rogers, Twomey, Moss, Parker, and Spencer. A bus will leave Lambton Station at 1.45 p.m.
