There have been no further operations. The internal situation is normal—Aus.-N.Z Cable Aesii AFGHAN ARMISTICE DELEGATION. AMIR MUST PROVE HIS SINCERITY. (Rec. Way 25, 5.5 p.m.) Allahabad, May 24. The Afghan Armistice Delegation was detained at Peshawar, us a precautionary measure, with the exception of tho chief envoy, who was conducted back across the frontier, with a message, that tho Amir must prove his -.sincerity by action.
