SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Music, story and Song filled up a bright evening at'the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday, when AIrTA, Boyd was assisted by a strong party of. performers, who rendered popular items before a most appreciative audience. Those. who contributed were Mesdamcs Morgan, J. Lewis, Walker, Audimvood, Mis3e3 Audinwood, J. Lewis, and Watson, Messrs. Boyd, Ilanlon, Lydon, .Jackson Sanders, and Pi'ice. Mrs. L. C. Walker was at the piano. Mr, Moore, missloner, spoke oik "Mind Your Head," and several men signed the pkdge at tho close. The conundrum wthpotition prizes went to the Port -Sydney and Kaikoura. They were presented by Mr. Bathgate and Mrs. J. Lewis. Cheers were given at the close of. the .evening.
