DROWNING ACCIDENT. Hy TcleirraDh—Press Association. Hokitika, May 21. Warwick Duncan was drowned in the Totara J.II goon yesterday whilst riding on Horseback. The riderless horso was found, and a search resulted in tliq body of Duncan being recovered this morning. DEATH UNDER AN ANAESTHETIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 21. 1 The death of William Thomas Tyler, a married man, occurred under an anaesthetic at the hospital last evening. At tho inquest a verdict was returned that death was due to respiratory failure while under an anaesthetic. All precautions were taken before the operation, and all means were adopted to revive the patient on his collapse. AUCKLAND RAILWAY FATALITY. Hy Teleirranh.--t'rcr..i Association. Auckland, Hoy 21. Tim man who wos killed on the railway lino near Auckland station on Monday of last week lfa.s been identified as Wiiliam Nelson. Ho was admitted to tho MenUl Hospital from Hamilton, and was discharged from Uiu institution on May 12.
