WADESTOWN MUNICIPAL ASSOCIATION
Tho ninth ahnunl meeting of the members of the Wadestown Municipal Electors' Association was lield last evening in St. Luke's Schoolroom. The president of the association (Mr. S. G. Nathan) was in the chair.
The annual repoYt dealt with a variety of subjects, showing the activity of tho committee during the jear. The .Wade Street East Road was put in order, ami the lighting arrangements at the tram terminus Were "improved. Efforts made to abate the wandering-stock nuisance had. proved somewhat successful. At all events there wore' not so _ many complaints now. When the city took over the. milk supply there was a danger of the milk from tho dairy in the district being taken- into the city and then brought bnck to Wndestown. A deputation from the association waited on" the Milk-Committee, and the suburb was allowed to retain its milk supply. About a dozen letters wero written-to tho city authorities with respect to the bad approach to the school in Wado Street West, but so far nothing had been done. Tho Outlying Districts Committee visited the suburb on two occasions, and while a'good many promises had been received verv. little work had beon done. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. S. George Nathan; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. AVylie, J. J. Connor, (ind F. Brookes; secretary, .Mr, W. J. Blighe; treasurer, Mr. H. Parland; committee, Messrs. E. Wiffin, W. M. Ellis. E. Rowe, C. Triuinell, and C. R, Joplin.
