HIGH COMMISSIONER'S ADVICE. The Hon. G. W. Russell, Minister of Internal Affairs, advises the receipt from the High Commissioner of a cablegram notifying that persons contemplating a visit to London should be wnrned of the difficulty in obtaining hotel or other accommodation, and the high cost of such accommodation. Berths for return to New Zealand art; almost unobtainable, and it is estimated that, at the present, about 3000 civilians are awaiting passages (o New Zealand. The High Commissioner is of opinion that, about October, the' position will becomo easier.
