In accordance with the policy.'announced •in The Dominion yesterday the Defence authorities are taking steps to confino service in the Military Police Force to returned soldiers. All military polico who have not had overseas service ar» to'he demobilised as from Tuesday next, and over 200 returned soldiers will be' renuired to fill their places. The minimum rate of pay in .the Military Polico is 7s. Gd. a day for eingfo men, and 9s. a day for married men. ■ seven days in the week, with an additional 4s. a day if lodgings and rations are not provided. The members of the force receive also freo uniforms and other privileges. . \
