OFFER TO LEASE NATIONAL SHIPYARDS
$ TO ENGINEERING AND SHIPBUILDING TRADES. (Rec. Hay 13, 5.0 p.m.) London, Hay 12. The Federation of the Engineering and Shipbuilding Trades, representing, over twenty trade unions, is considering an offer by the Government to leaso. the national shipyards at Chepstow, Beachley, and Portbury, with the option of acquiring, the yards outright when they desire. The federation will discuss the offer on Thursday at Cardiff.-Aiis.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.
