FEWER UNIFORMS
INSTRUCTIONS TO EX-SOtDIEBS. An instruction has been issued thatmen who have secured employment in Defence branches through the Public Service Commissioner aro not to wear unii'oriii. It has been the practice of some ex-soldiers so engaged to wear uniform at w«rk. They did not wear it continuously, and as they were not soldiers, subject to military rules, the custom is considered to bo subversive of discipline. Uniform way be worn only by members of the Forces.
