HICIvEY, Kaponga. ■ TERRITORIAL TRAINING By Telegraph.—Precs Association. Dunetlin, May 0. The Magistrate gave judgment to-day in a case in which a youth was charged witli failing to register as a'Territorial. The defence was thai: the youth had a statutory alien father, having been naturalised as an American citizen. His Worship said that.no documents had been produced in this case. He' thought there had been some confusion regarding the rights of the individual States in America and those of the United States as to citizenship. The father of defendant was not in a position to become an American citizen, because he had not resided there long enough to comply with the conditions. As the matlev had been raised in a perfectly: bonafide way, lie would simply order defendants to pay costs.
