MAKARA COUNTY COUNCIL
The Makara County Council met yestordav, when there were present :-u>uncillors S. Brvant (chairman), !■,. Wmdley, D. Prosser, L. P. Nairn, and S. Bowler. It was decided to apply to tlio Public Works Department for «, suoply or metal, at a cost of £50, for the Porirua Road, between the asylum Rates and the railway station. The council decided that (lie matter of the mirclniso of a stone-crushing ljlnnt should bo Held over for further consideration. Accounts 'amounting tc ,£37G 10s. Gd. were passed for payment.
