There was a good attendance of buyers and most of (he lilies submitted were sold at priceß in favour of buyers. Us. 6d. to 155.; empty ewes, 10s. to 135.; empty 2tooth ewes, 16b. to 18s.; smnll 2-tooth ivethei'B, 18s ; to 229. r 2, 4 and 6-tootli wethers, 285,; mixed lambs, 9s. to 11b.; cull lambs, 3s. to 65.; mixed woolly lambs (small), 9s. 3. Small weancr steers, 255.: coloured 20month steers, £3 to £3 155.; 18-month steers, £5 10s.; 2J-ycar steers, to £9 Is. fd. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd., reports:—On Tuesday last we hold a very successful sale at Carnarvon on account of Mr. E. (Durham, who has sold his property. There was a cood attendance of the public, and bidding being brisk, good prices were obtained in spito of the dry weather conditions. Quotations -.—Forward 4-tootli wethers, 30s. 2d.; 3-year ewes, running with Shropshire rams, 28s. Harness and sundries at full rates. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., re-port:-At Owhango yards, on May 1, we had a- good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. There was a good attendance of the public, and all sheep yaraed changed hands under the hammer at satisfactory priceß, but cattle' were luira to quit at reduced prices. Prices ruling were as follow:—Fat ewes, 245. sd. to ule.; store ewes, 12s, to lfs.
