SKETCH EXHIBITION
CLOSING DAY. A final opportunity will be afforded today to view the rare collection of sketches in colour and black and white drawings which have been assembled by the Academy of Fine Arts for this year s exhibition! Artists in all parts of New Zealand have contributed their work, and to tliem and .the academy's genial president and energetic council is due the success which has attended the exhibition. Yesterday 6aw the largest number of visitors yet recorded at the gallery, awl a very'considerable number of art union tickcts passed to buyers. To-night at 9 o'clock the art union will be: drawn in the presenco of visitors, and tho exhibition will close at 9.30 o'clock. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5.30 n.m.,' anil from 7.30 n.m. to 9.30 pm. The admission, one shilling, includes a ticket in the art union.
