At the Anglican' Goneral Synod to-day the Bishop of Nelson was enthusiastically rocoived on his return from tho front. The Primate announced that tho Archbishop of Canterbury hnd conferred on the Bishop of Nelson the honorary degree of D.D. Tho scheme for the formation of the new cliocoso of Tarauaki was heartily approved. The committee on tho Primacy question recommended a fixed primacy at ' Wellington.
