HUTT RIVER BOARD
-MONTHLY MEETING.' , T!i6 monthly meeting' of the Hutt* Elver Board was held last evening. Pre-sent.-—Messrs. 11. BakhVin (chairman), 0. Bowers, J. W. Welch, and W. Knight. The overseer in his monthly report stated that tho groyne at Belmont had been completed at a cost of dCS 3 Ba. Gd. The snagging of the channel of the river at Kingdon's Beach had also been completed and a largo number of logs had been removed from the channel. Tho river had heen low all the month, and the protective works were'in good order. The report was received. Accounts totalling Mil 17s. sd. were passed for payment.-
