LEGACY FOR WAR RELIEF
DECEASED OFFICER LEAVES ,-CllOO. Mr. L. 0. H. Tripp, chairman of the Wellington. War Relief Association, has received from Mr. A. V. Hewitt, executor of tho wjll of the late Lieutenant Foster Brooke Crouch, the sum of £100, being a payment on account of a legacy left to the Wellington War Relief Associafion by the lute Lieutenant Crouch. The balance of the legacy, approximately iCIOOO, will also be paid lo the society go soon as certain securities in England have been realised. The lato Lieutenant Crouch was attached to the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, and was killed in action in France on March 23, 1918. Ho was, prior to his enlisting in England, in the employ of the New Zealand Government Railway Department. At yesterday's meeting of the association it was riecided to publicly acknowledge the gift, to record it in the minutes of the association,
