NO INTOXICATING LIQUOR, There will be no intoxicating beverages oa sale at tho Trentham races to bo hold to-morrow and Saturday. This decision was arrived at by three votes to two;at a special meeting of the Hutt Licensing Committee, held yesterday afternoon to consider an application for a temporary .license for tho races made by Richard 1. Lowe, licensee of tho Trentham Hotel. Mr. J. J'. M'Grath appeared iu support of tho application. The members of lht> committee who heard tho application were Messrs. J. AY. il'Ewan (chairman), W. T. Cotton, J; Cotton, M. W. Welih, and W. Wearne.
