OPENING DAY ON SATURDAY. Tho Football Association opened its eoa--s»n on Saturday with a six-a-side competition for medals on'Us ground i\t South Kilbirnie. Out of. 51 game.? set down to be played 51 were actually played, the remaining three games still to bo played being the eemi-final and final of the Senior Grade, which had to be postponed owing to darkness. These, will bo played on a date to be arranged later. Many of the games were close and exciting, and extra time had to be played in both the Fourth Division and Sixth Division finals before tho winner could be found.
