The balance-sheet of the Mnnawatu and Westi Coast A. and P Association, which is to be'presented to the thirty-third annual mpeting of the'socicty,. which will bo held on May 5, discloses a satisfactory financial position. Tho expenditure on tho last National- Dairy-Show amounted to .£1379, and the receipts to .£2281. while the Spring Show expenditure was''<£2lß3, and the -receipts .£3144. Members' subscriptions (including ,£6o' from life-members) amounted to ,£1391, ,nnd the revenue from the grounds and buildings to J3237. There is a balanco of ,£1377 on the profit and loss account to be transferred to the capital account. The statement of assets and liabilities shows a credit balance in favour of the former- of .£18,568., Extensions, to tho -association's:." buildings - on- the'-'- Show-, grounds: are being-carried out, and good progress; is" being made with, the work; The annexe. will probably bo used for the dog and poultry exhibits. Tho form--er ars expected to be considerably greater than last year now that the breeders lave settled their differences.
