SergenntCyril Dunstan,>Gunner Jack Phillips, Gun'r.er L. W. Robinson, Gunner Fred. Thomas, soldiers of Australia, heroic survivors of tho original A.nzacs, whose terrible sufferings and.feacrih'ces in Iho ill-fated Gallipoli campaign and whose distinguished services. later in war-torn Franco challenges our utmost admiration ami sympathy; Resolved, that wo extend to our distinguished visitors our most heartfelt sentiments of gratitude and affection for the noble part they played in the great struggle for democracy and freedom, assuring them that tho bond of unity evoked by tho common ideals and aspiration of tlie neighbouring Commonwealth .of Australia and tho Jjepublic of .the United States and irrevocably sealed 'by the mutual sacrifices of tho brave soldiers of both countries, shall last as long as time shall last, and' shall continue to grow in mutual understanding, sympathy, and admiration.
