CHINA'S FINANCES
THE BIG 1911 LOAN. New York, April 21. The Peking 'correspondent of the New York "Times" states that the Chinese Cabinet has agreed, at the request of the British, French, and American Governments, to dissociate German capital from the Four-Power railway loan. The agreement was concluded in 1911 whereby each financial group contracted for the construction of the Hcnkow-Siechunn line. The German interests will be divided (imong the British, French, and Ameri-cans.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. DOMINION NAVIES NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA. (Rec. April 22, 10.2Q p.m.) Paris, April 21. The question of the Dominions' navies was further discussed. The British would like New Zealand to accept at least two cruisers of the Sydney class, while Australia can have practically anything in the way of a new navy she thinks she can afford.—United Service,
