EXTRAORDINARY REPORT
NEW ENTENTE TRIPLE ALLIANCE. (Rec. April 21, 9.35 p.m.) New York, April 20. The "World's" Paris correspondent cables the extraordinary report that America has assured France that sue will enter a defensive alliance with Britain and France. A tentative agreement, he says, has already been reached between the three nations which probably will shortly be revealed by M. Clemp.nceau. The ' correspondent adds that the agreement provides that the American Congress will be asked to aid France in the event of an attack by Germany' by declaring the existence of a state of war. The agreement is .regarded by the French as Clemenceau's greatest victory.—Aus.N.Z. Cable "Assn.
