Mr. Hampton, president of tho A.S.R.S., addressed a large gathering of railvraymen of tho local branch m the Friendly Society's Hall on Thursday evening. he lucidly explained the new classification and schedule of wages. The meeting save the president a most cordial hear, inr, and at the conclusion of an address covering two hours it unanimously exited confidence in Mr: Hampton end the present executive.
