Ihe : committee hoped to see the purebred ■ cattle sale worked up into a leading pure- : -ibred stock sale, as Palmerston Aortli I was"an excellent centre for assembling :■ arid-flistribiitinsstocfc. , deferring.tothe ; spring sliow,'the 'report states that as in previous years it -extended over only ! two days, and opinion was somewhat dii on the question of reverting _to the 1 original three days.
