■ (From Our' Special Correspondent.) Palmerston North, April 14. At a conference of delegates from villous dairy companies in the district, held at Pannevirke, consideration was given t-o the dried milk and sugar of milk rjucstions, and a proposal to send delegates abroad to obtain information. The chair was taken by Mr. .T. Gildca, chairman of the Maharahara Dairy Co. A report was received from Mr. Smith- on a meeting of dairymen he had attended recently at Hawera. The subject? lrefore the meeting were discussed at. some length, but 110 resolution wis passed. It was resolved that meetings of Ho eeveTal cheese factories should be held to consider the report of the Tarnnalcl meeting. The formation of a cheese ,actories association was also urged. .Mr. Giklea was nominated for a seat on the National Dairy Association.
