SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
<f Thursday's concert at the Sailors' Friond Socioty, given b.v Hiss V. M. Still, was a highly-successful one, and was contributed to by the Misses .T. Maclaurin, I'ope, Martin, mainland, Crane, Still, and 11. Jlaclaurin, ami Messrs. Norman, s.s. liiverina, and Kershaw, s.s. Toromo. The electrically-lighted club swinging by Miss Crane was much enjoyed. Tlio Misses Uird and llaclaurin were at the piano. The results of the licensing poll and the competitions were features of tlio evening. Prizes came from Ilobson Strict, and weal, to tlio s.s. Ajana. A hearty vote of thanks was passeil to tlio hostess and her helpers.
