OBSOLETE TYPES REJECTED. London, April 8. -Tho Cologne correspondent of the "Daily Express" stales (hat among ihe Gorman guns surrendered at Cologitf are lour hundred of obsolete types. Some were Used in the Franco-Prussian War. The most modern are dated 1891. Some aro rusted bronze.mortars of the 1870 pattern. German workmen aro busy reloading them into trucks, and tho German Government lias been notified that it must replace them, with modern weapons—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
