DEATH OF A MAORI CHIEF
By Telegraph-Press Association. Te Kuiti, April 10. _ Hari Homara Wahnmii,_ a great Manionoto chief, died at Te Kuiti yesterday, lie had a great influence for good with the Natives. He represented'the tribe at the Coronation of King Edward, and made splendid efforts to recruit Maoris for the war. The Maori king and influential Natives arrived at Te Kuih today. whore a great: iangi will be held. The burial will take place 'later at Olwohangn.
