Shortly after -half-past four yesterday i afternoon the fire brigade received a cull I to a fire in a. two-storied.-,dwelling in ;' Thorndon Quay, occupied by John '■ Verne, and. owned by J. .M'Ginnity The building and contents were dam- • sued before the outbreak was extinguish'ed. The building is insured with the f South British Insurance Co. for JM7S, : and the contents were not insured.
