The I'upatawa Cheese Factory was totally (Ifestrovcd by (ire early an Sunday morning- 'J'lie factory was well equipped, having cost about .112000 when erected. Over one hundred orates of cheese, worth between JiTOO mid -ißflO, were destroyed. The insurances wore:—.CSOO on building, .C 230 on the plant, ,£IOO on stock of cheese, .£3OO on the"'manufacturing stock; a total of ,£2230. The company is a considerable loser. The v-holu of the insurance is in the farmers' Mutual Company. /
